Algeria before 1830 from an old European book

We are here to list Algeria’s revered and documented glories in the history books.
Today we brought you a book entitled Dictionary of Global Geography, a Spanish-language book by Sebastian Menano, born in 1779, a Spanish writer, journalist and historian.
The book was written at the beginning of 1800 years and published in 1828, and we wanted to quote from it an old quote and testimony of how they looked at Algeria at the time with European eyes.
On page 76 of the book, the author addresses the definition of Algeria: It is a country located on the Mediterranean Sea and expands south to the Sahara and the Timor Country, bordered by Tunisia from the Eastern Side. It said that its land is fertile, productive and its beauty contains minerals, gold mines, silver, iron, lead, alum and salt, and has wool and cloth factories.
Algeria is divided into 6 provinces or states: Algeria, Constantine, Camp, Tetra and tribal countries. When described to the Algerian people, Algerians said: “A Muslim people. The personality of the Algerian individual is cruel and solid. His body is strong and brilliant.
